Bethel Website Policies and Guidelines

More and more local Bethels are creating and maintaining their own web sites for public relations, Bethel communications, and just for fun. PA Job's Daughters encourages this trend.

In order to help our Bethels make the best use of web-based communication, and to protect the members, name, and principles of Job's Daughters, PA Job's Daughters has adopted a formal web site policy. On this page, you'll find links to both the formal rules and regulations for PA Job's Daughters web sites, and a separate page of Job's Daughters web tips, which may be helpful in your Bethel's web adventures.

Definitions:

1. A PA JOB'S DAUGHTERS WEBSITE is any site operated by a PA Job's Daughters Bethel, Appendant Body or other Job's Daughters-related organization, or operated by any individual or entity on-behalf of such an organization. Sites posted for special inter-Bethel Job's Daughters events or other Job's Daughters purposes are included in this definition. Any website bearing the Job's Daughters name and/or representing itself as speaking for a PA Job's Daughters entity is, by definition, a Job's Daughters website. Like all Job's Daughters publications, these sites fall under the jurisdiction and control of the Grand Guardian.

2. A POLICY is a requirement made of all PA Job's Daughters web sites. All Job's Daughters web sites for Bethels, Appendant Bodies, or other purposes, must be in compliance with these requirements.

3. GUIDELINES are simply suggestions made for maximum effectiveness of web-use. All Chapter and other sites are urged to follow the guidelines provided, and to strive for a consistent level of excellence in their web publications.
